(Never sure where this question is best asked, sorry if its in the wrong dept)

People are telling me their emails to my .mac account are bouncing back. I tried sending myself an email to my .mac account, and sure enough, it comes back a few minutes later.

Reason: over quota

Over quota!? Im not exactly sure what that means, but it would seem to indicate over use/full or something. It definitely isnt full. And surely i cant be using it too much? half a dozen emails a day at most to that account.

Clues anyone?

You can always check the dotmac home page to see if there's any interruptions or problems.

Have you tried to rebuild your mailboxes?

Have you adjusted the size of the mailbox via dotmac > account > preferences?

Have you deleted stuff in Trash? And maybe those unneeded ones in sent as well?

Have you synced your mail with .Mac?

This is a computer-generated message and needs no signature.

Im thinking it was a .mac glitch.. The status thing on the site does mention maintenance today. But not email related, apparently.....
My storage prefs says im only using 1mb out of 50 allocated for email. And yes, i deleted trash, even tho I set it to do that automatically on a weekly basis anyway. I did rebuild the mailboxes, as you suggested. Even tho im not entirely sure what that does.

Either, way, it seems to be working again for now.
Thanks for the suggestions
