So when I try to register a new username, I get 'there was a slight problem with the database" or whatever. Then I'm totally ****ed, because I don't get an activation email, but I can't try again since my username and email addres is registered....

so fix your ****. Otherwise you'll never see another new user here again. I've tested this in Safari and Camino.

No I too had trouble registering. Because they had to go back to a March backup my account didn't exist.

I tried to create it but got some funky error that told me to click on the refresh link. It took a few emails to get it corrected. I guess what ever prevented my registration from working is still occuring.
