By BTO, I mean adding the 80Gb 5400rpm drive to the 12". Specifically, which would be quicker for Photoshop and Flash work? Anyone know?

i would suggest it more comes down to what you want; the 12" or the 15".
there are probably places where one will work faster over the other, but i doubt you'll see much difference.

boils down to a choice of portability versus larger screen...

what are the viedo card specs on the 15...I know the 12 has 64vram and it is an nvidea...

I think the 15" has a 64Mb ATI 9600.. Dunno how it compares to the 12" nvidia..?

A friend of mine has a 1.25 15" and I have the new 1.33 12". We ran XBench on both of them, and found that the scores were VERY similar. I recall my 12" beat him by about 2 points, which is not much. He had 1 gig of memory, and I have 768k.

FYI: Photoshop CS runs like a dream on this machine!
