Is it possible to use AppleScript to log onto a remote NT server? If so, how? I know how to do it with another Macintosh with FileSharing and Program linking turned on. I can't find any documentation on how to do it with an NT server.

Is the Windows NT server configured to support Mac clients via AppleTalk or Apple Filing Protocol (AFP)? In Windows NT 3.5.x and 4.0, there is a Services For Macintosh option which lets NT act as an AFP file server.

In that case, you should be able to use the standard AppleScript commands to mount the AFP-compliant NT server (i.e., either the 'mount volume' command of Apple's Standard Additions OSAX in Mac OS 8.5 or later, or the 'MountIP' command of Leonard Rosenthols MountIP OSAX in earlier Mac OS versions). In the AFP URL parameter, the server name can be either the Windows name of the NT server (if you're on the same LAN), or the domain name or IP address of the NT server (if you're connecting via TCP/IP). In Mac OS 8.6 or later, you can also script the server name, user name & password as separate parameters rather than in the AFP URL itself.

(BTW, a good general source of information on Mac & Windows connectivity is the MacWindows website.)

Good luck.
