Just got my iPod Touch and was playing around with the home screen and touched the iTunes store icon. It moved me to that screen and I immediately got an iTunes Store screen telling me it cannot connect as there is no WI FI network. As I am in a no WI FI area that's not surprising. What I can not do now is go back to the home screen. I've taped the "button" at the top of the screen, swiped up, down, across etc and it stays on that screen. Can someone help me get out of this area?

Thanks

Lee

Try holding the top button down.

You should get a "slide to power off" screen.

Or are you missing the fact that the "Home" button (the big round one) will ALWAYS take you back to the home screen (unless you're already there)?

Boy am I embarrassed. I did not even know that was a button on the bottom of the iPod.

Thanks, Spheric

I'm glad you were just missing a basic element - means your iPod is fine!

You can download the iPod touch manual here:
http://manuals.info.apple.com/en_US/...User_Guide.pdf

It's also preset as a bookmark in your Safari browser directly on the iPod.

Enjoy!
