The original hard drive from my G4 400 (pci) died. It was a Quantum Fireball CX 10GB. Can I replace it with an ATA100 hard drive if the motherboard is a 66?

All ATA/100 drives are backward compatible and the newer drives will be a significant improvement in performance, quieter. Maxtor, WD, IBM 60GXP.
