I'm not sure "RIP" is the right wish for him. Perhaps something more old-testament.

His own thread? Not worthy.
Ya gotta applaud those bunnies for sacrificing their hearing just so some guy in Yonkers can have better TV reception.

Maybe. Maybe not. He was, though, a darker, more serious part of the 80s zeitgeist. I see him as a harbinger of what was to come in the future. I think you can draw a fairly straight line from Kaczynski, through to McVeigh, and to our current era and things like Q-Anon.

Honestly, I was surprised he was even still alive.

Strange to think that he only killed 3 people. That’s American’s garden-variety weekend mass shooter at this point. God bless…

I learnt more about him when I watched the Netflix series. The 1970s and 1980s were a weird time. I don't believe in heaven or hell, so I see no use cursing him, whatever made him him stopped.

He maimed others, but yeah, that's one scary way to put it into perspective.

PS I don't want to derail the thread, but just the small montage on the German news about Berlusconi made me re-re-re-realize to what degree Berlusconi was Trump v1 years before Trump got to power. Except that Berlusconi actually was self-made. And even more successful at avoiding responsibility.
I don't suffer from insanity, I enjoy every minute of it.
