Just because they can
Does not mean they have to be
Limits are more fun
Rustling branches
Overhead the sound of leaves
Dropping on my meal
I'm dining outside
Weather incredibly nice
Oh **** here come bees!

I suck at haiku
It's too damn hard to write them
I'm not creative
--
Bottled water bucks
Flying out of my pocket
Like green bumblebees
Tired of evian
Think I'll move to Budweiser
It's much more fizzy
Oh crap I'm drunk now
Feels like floating in Jell-O
Whee, give me some more
This power outage
Is just a conspiracy
To sell lots of beer
--
I should quit smoking
It's bad for me they all say
Hey, you got a light?

I'd do this all night
Too bad I am so sleepy
Lots to write about
--
Had to fill my tank
Holy crap that's expensive
Milk would be cheaper
Speaking of the cow
How is that old fart doing?
I hear he's grounded
Hee hee hee, ho ho
That was some funny shee-at
God I'm good at this

Drunks are lots of fun
Love the saki-drinkin' Japs
Who brought us Haiku
Sleep sweetly iNub,
Dreamy beer cows offer drink
Rub yourself a pint
When you wake at noon,
Don't forget your hangover
Buy more evian

Tomorrow i turn
legal US drinking age
Oh my god I'm hit
At least that's the plan
That's what they warned me about
I'm kinda scared now
The one thing I want
I probably will not get
An hour long lapdance
Not from a man, eew
But a naked hot stripper
Or a cheerleader

You've probably drank before
I like white russians.

How is your dormroom?
Is it quite nice and cozy?
My first room was small!
I'm glad this thread lived
I thought it had been buried
Under happ'ning posts.
More traditional
Haikus are to come when in
Introspective mood.

bathed in sillyness

Haikus can be bad...
So can movies and novels,
And almost all art.
But there are diamonds to find
And diamonds to be written.
(written in haikai form, 5-7-5-7-7)

This thread should be dead
But I like to write haiku
bump bumpity bump
How many of you
Hate the topic starter now
What's his name again?
I got really drunk
On my twenty first birthday
Two gallons of beer
And that was only
the afternoon. You shoulda
seen me after dark.
I wasn't sober
I couldn't walk in a line
Thanks god for D D's

A crash of metal
A lifetime of peace, shattered
All is quiet now
--
Adapted from a haiku I came up with on the spot in 10th grade English class. It originally involved Boutros-Boutros Ghali, which scored me some points at the time, but I can't remember how it went. I like the one above, though.
--
My throat is aching
There is much to do today
May it pass quickly
