Honda's,

Are the greatest cars on Earth.

I'v had my prelude for over 10Years, and the only hassle i had was to replace the tires every so often.

Weights in the tires would be my guess. As long as they were from the car, of course.

Could be something to do with inertia?

Also, it seems the wheel that makes the first push is bigger?

I believe they did it by adding weights in specific places so that the total mass of the wheel is in fact moving downward for the short distance it moves.

It was over 600 takes, IIRC. However, that take was one sequential piece, not several edited together.

The wheel rolled uphill because they stuck some weights (bolts and stuff) at the top of the wheel and balanced it perfectly.

Yeah, I read somewhere they did it 600-something times to finally get it perfect. That's just crazy. "Honda dynamo ... thing ... take ... 517...." *Zzzzzzzz*

Awesome commercial, though; it was worth it.

My mom had a mid 80s accord. Then a 92 Accord. Now she has a focus. I have subie now, which I love, but I'll be getting another neon.

Just for fun-

My car history:

1970 Convertible VW Beetle
1986 CRX si
1968 VW Beetle Sedan
1981 BMW 320iS (recaro seats and wheel, limited slip diff, close ratio 5spd- all for $100.00)

1962 Chevrolet Impala
1994 Mitsubishi Galant 2.4liter

The sedan beetle and the last two, I still have. The honda was a great car. It was reliable, and it took a beating. It was by no means the best car out there, but it did last to 230,000 miles.
