Those of you who are familiar with Ulysses may know what I'm talking about. Ulysses offers a full screen mode with a completely black screen and only the cursor and my written text visible, nothing else. As great as that is for writing (I'm a person who get's easily distract... uh birdy!) I miss an OS 9 application with a similar feature. Thing is ever since I realized OS 9 does not distract me as much as OS X does (with all its bells & whistles and animations, etc) I'm doing most of my creative and university writing on an old PowerBook 3400 (PowerBook G3/233 very soon, yes the one with L2-cache, no I'm not getting a road apple). MS Word 98 and 2001 both offer what they consider 'full screen' but it's really more like 'simple mode' or something not full screen...
Does anybody know an application that will fulfill my needs? A simple editor would suffice, I'm doing all of my formatting afterwards in Mellel anyway.
