Hello Experts ..

I'm wondering if this procedure will work to eliminate the last security update ...

My system is currently up to date through Software Downloads

If I run the 10.3.8 Combo Updater which precedes the last security update .. will my system function as if that security update was not installed?

Thank you ...
Tiger 10.4.8

No, it will not. You cannot deinstall a security update. The only way to do this would be to Archive and Install Panther and then apply all the updates except for the security update you don't want.

Why do you want to do this?

Ticking sound coming from a .pkg package? Don't let the .bom go off! Inspect it first with Pacifist. Macworld - five mice!
