I cast my vote for Angel and Firefly.

Mystery Science Theater 3000 (the Comedy Central era - the SciFi years just weren't the same). If Trace Beaulieu and Frank Conniff had stayed, it could have gone forever. Their leaving was really the slow, bleeding wound that eventually killed the show.

I'm a huge devotee of Invader Zim.

Space, Above and Beyond was one I never missed.

And back in the day I was a fan of Magnum PI.

I would have liked to have seen more of "Go Fish". NBC aired like a few episodes in the summer and it was canceled - I liked it a lot.

Only one season and three episodes were filmed before his death on September 11th. They had just finished the filming on the third episode before he got sick. I felt so sad after he died.

Space: Above and Beyond. They ended the first series with a cliffhanger ending, and never brought it back for the next season. Definitely the most cruel cancellation ever.

Homicide. I loved that show. Pembelton was the coolest detective ever.

Futurama. No explanation necessary.

It's Your Move. A lot of you were probably a bit young to remember this show. Jason Bateman was great in it. And another show that bit the bullet after a 'to be contuinued' episode.

Herman's Head. No reason really, I just liked it.

The George Carlin Show. George as a crotchety NY cabbie. Go figure.

Vengeance Unlimited. Michael Madsen was great in that show.

I can officially post Wonderfalls here. FOX screwed up and placed the best new show this year in a poor time slot on nights very few people watch television and then they cancelled it after three episodes. Here's hoping for a DVD release sometime soon.

Pretender.

I hope they release Pretender on DVD (including the two movies released on cable only), it was a great show with a strong cast, good plot and great writing.

Another show I think was unjustly cancelled was the second Mission Impossible.

SEAQUEST!

No wait, it really sucked and the way the changed everything about it each season made it worse.

But it COULD have been so cool which is what makes me so mad!

I am surprised no one has mentioned Sliders. I miss the show, however without the Professor or Quinn it's not really the same show, and the clifhanger ending was unfair to the fans/viewers.

Star Trek: TNG could have gone on a few more seasons, but it had to end because apparently Rick Berman's vision of Star Trek didn't coincide with Gene Roddenberry's anymore. Voyager was the only series after which I found good, though definitely not at the level of TNG.

And say what you will, but I thought Dr. Quinn: Medicine Woman was a quality show.

Tek War was interesting. Would have liked to see more of that.

Max Headroom deserved more than one season.

Oh yeah, Sliders was definitely one of the better ones. I thought it got picked up by FX or something on cable.

TNG lasted 7 seasons, I think it was originally scheduled for 7 seasons anyways. DS9 and Voyager was 7 seasons as well. 7 is long enough. But after Season 4 it was starting to get really good.

The first and third season's were good, IMO. Second season sucked ass. The only subject matter was ghosts and psychics. Absolutely nothing to do with the premise of the show.

Completely agree!! Early Edition was the best. The show was so good. Too bad CBS preferred shows that had violence, shooting, killing etc. As for Now and Again (or was it Now and Then) the show were the guy was brought back as a Super human. only 13 Episodes.

Nelson Rating are a complete joke. They are so inaccurate.

Fish (remember that?) Just kidding. It sucked.

Fish Police (Hah!)

Family Guy
Futurama
Police Squad (definitely!)

Battlestar Galactica (Unfortunately, what I have read is that the show may have gotten much worse after the first season. It might be better that it didn't go on. We will never know.)

The Tick? Unfortunately, the live action show was awful compared to the cartoon. While hugely disappointing, I'm glad they killed it when they did.

Space: Above and Beyond. (It was just getting good).

It was a good show but they spun the remains of it, including the camera work, into Fast Lane which sucked. But Bravo is airing all the episodes from the only season they filmed including ones that were never shown on FOX.

My only gripe with the show was that is gave the impression there was a healthy abundance of hot women in London which is simply not true. The ratio is far lower then they led to me believe.

all the most brilliant shows get canceled.

- Futurama
- Family Guy
- Invader Zim
- Mr. Show (With Bob and David)
- Upright Citizens Brigade
- Strangers with Candy
- MST3K
- The Brak Show
- The Critic
- Duckman
- Aeon Flux (although the ruind it with talking)
- Ren and Stimpy
- etc.

If someone were to start a network with nothing but these shows, you would have me in your audience.

I think FUTURAMA and FAMILY GUY are the ones that are not disputed.

Critic, I have been watching the DVDs and I am trying really hard to laugh, to make the justification that the show was funny and canceled unjustly, but it just does not do it for me.

UNDECLARED was a great show, i hope to see it on DVD soon.
