I have over 1500 different Henderson cards (1679 different exist)...he is the only player I have collected exclusively since 1987. The only card I have doubles of is his 1980 Topps RC, to which I own 65+ of those.

I've recently taken up woodworking in a semi-serious way. I've built a nice big bookcase (its twin is ready to assemble; I guess I need to make myself one of those round toits), and some mahagony bookends so far. It's soothing because it takes concentration, but not so much deep thought that it's hard to concentrate on.

This is in addition to photography and a few other hobbys. I STILL want Canon to put out a digital back for the A1 series cameras!

I have too damned many hobbies. I need to trim back a few... they're starting to turn into a vocation.

Same here.

I have narrowed it down to brewing beer, wood-working, and photography.

I still oil paint occasionally though. I gave up on travel. Having a 1 year old, (and another on the way), has a neat way of nipping that one from the list.

I like to play guitar (I'd like to get a band going), I used to rock climb a lot, but haven't too much since we had kids. I'm training for a triathlon, so I'm swimming and biking a lot. Need to get running, though. My miles are going to be like 10 minutes a piece if I don't get started. Ugh.

Drawing/painting was the thing for quite a while, but it required a little too much patience for me right now. I'm also trying to Develop a business on the side, and that seems to take up most of my free time.

I am into offroading and throwing money at my jeep... but the places i can go and the things I can see up in the mountains makes it way worth while.

I also have a camera, but I dont take it out as much as I should... too busy building the jeep...

Not really a hobby, but exercising is a good way to pass the time.

The best thing about it is the more you do it, the better you look.

Well... home audio/theater, woodworking, belong to 3 occult organizations, hunting (though I rarely have the time anymore), gardening, hiking, camping, guitar, piano, and church. Also, I collect antiquarian books (most are religion or occult related), original art, and silver/golden age comics (which I've done since I was 12). Plus, I like to play computer games from time to time.

Combine that with my work; teaching, writing, and translation. I'm lucky I only sleep 4 hrs /night.

Edit: oh yeah, I also collect firearms.

my hobbies are photography, tinkering with and occasionally riding my bikes, and composing music. non-hobby-but-things-i-do: reading (jitterbug perfume was my last), and playing and performing music (community orchestra mainly these days). i wonder if i could combine all of them...

When I was a kid, I collected comic book religiously. I got back into about the time of the Death of Superman and got a decent collection. The past year or so, I've just gotten a handful here and there to read as it seems the level of writing has really sunk to new lows.
Since that hobby is waning, I guess Macs (aside from my professional usage) is a big hobby.

I used to race bicyles and do triathlons. I even did an Ironman back in 1999.

Then I got fat in medical school, and now my main hobbies are sleeping and making excuses for not working out.

Not everyone here has English as their primary language. I don't know the post starter's history, but I have learned to cut people a little slack around here.

However, as a noob with 18 posts under your belt you should play a little nicer to someone with almost 3,000 posts here. Respect your elders kid.

Not everyone in Minnesota speaks English. A friend of mine who speaks fluent Russian is a dental hygienist at an office that caters to Russians that don't speak English very well. There is a very large immigrant population in Minneapolis that speaks very very little English.

I am sorry about his TV.
