After palying a quick game of Bugdom I discovered that the open window of iPhoto was now three quarters off the screen. And no matter what I do I can't drag it back (with iTunes you can drag from any 'brushed metal' part but this won't work with my stuck iPhoto).

I've tried:
- minimizing/maximizing
- decreasing my display to 640x480
- quitting/restarting iPhoto
- logging out
- restarting
- and even trashing the iPhoto app. But as it said 'Upgrade' rather than 'Install' when I reinstalled it, I figure I didn't trash enough iPhoto related files.

Anyone know an easy fix or how to completely unistall iPhoto?

This might be better asked in the MacOS X or MacOS X App forum, as iPhoto only runs on MacOS X. I don't know if any of the MacOS X pros check this forum frequently.

I had the same thing happen and tried everything you did. Nothing worked until I deleted the preference file.

Use Sherlock and search your library for anything with iPhoto in the name. Delete the file in the preferences folder and restart iPhoto. This should work (I hope).

Good Luck!

Thanks for the tip rossanford, but I can't find any iPhoto files in the main Library/Preferences or my personal Library...

Make the window as large as you can, vertically.

So it goes near the Dock.

Resize the Dock as large as possible, then smaller again.

The window should realise where it is, and move back.

BTW, try the OSX forum.
