Is it possible to maximize the window so that it covers the whole screen?

TIA.

By clicking and dragging on the bottom right corner. Otherwise why? Most pages don't look right that wide...

Whoa, I would've never figured that out (so use to Windows and its maximize buttons on the top right hand corner, lol).

I just don't want to scroll so much when I'm reading. Guess this applies to Office words and other applications too, eh? good good. I was getting annoyed with the pewny window. Thanks

Even better, SAFT will give you fullscreen browsing in safari, it also offers a window max-screen feature as well (works better than the regular maximize).

If a web browser page takes up more room than it needs to display the page, it's wasting space that could be used for other things.

Download Safari applescripts, one of which makes the window full screen (also thigs like mail URL, combine windows). You can keep the script icon in the menu bar.
