Could you exclude Lounge posts from the New Posts list?

This comment by f1000 is a great idea.

Is this possible to implement?
EDIT: and could you fix my typo in the title of the thread? Thanks.

You excluded a letter from the word exclude. Nice.

I think it's a good idea. It'd be nice for school.

Please don't derail this thread like you do most threads you participate in. It's rule breakers like you that make marden look like a saint.

So, at the risk of further derailing this fine and informative thread, do you want to be a mod there?
Getting back on topic, is there a way to store custom searches here? That ought to do the trick -- just search for all new posts that aren't in the Lounge and save the search....

The mods there don't do anything except post oversized pics, by design.
You see, Fuzzy Wombat is a revolutionary board that buys into the theory that by taking away the political mechanisms that create hierarchies and desirable prizes (and thus making everybody virtually equal), a happier environment will flourish. So far, the only problems we've had are Marden's sexually charged Ted Koppel signature.
Fuzzy Wombat is what it is, it exists, that is all. That is all it needs to be... It is what you want it to be, it is your clay.
Much closer to a real life hangout than a place like this is too, and although it may seem like a bizarre concept with lots of bizarre content, it is really no more bizarre than a place like this, when you really think about it
Join the revolution. Spelling optional.

on the original topic, I vote against removing Lounge posts from the New Posts list.

This is the best idea so far, a plug-in (if one exists) that allows saving custom DB search queries.

It would have to be an option, obviously; but an option set to ‘on’ by default.
