Screw that. I'd rather play Sabbath's 'Into The Void.'

Zim: Yeah. Wobblies. Heh.
Deth: Follow the Fender guide Zim posted. If you really don't want to be using a trem probably the best way is to "block" it (the Clapton Strat has this as default). Basically, shove a piece of wood between the rear of the trem block and the guitar body in the rear cavity.

Been inclined to wander... off the beaten track.
That's where there's thunder... and the wind shouts back.

It's not that I won't use it in the future, it's just that it looks like it's about to break at any minute. I can't afford to mess this up, and a bridge that's wobbly like that isn't reassuring.
Can you better illustrate to 'block' bit, cause it sounds confusing.
And any tips for tuning? I am sooo bad at it.

Yeah. Physically hold your trem so it's level. Now, in the rear cavity, you see that bit of space between the trem block (the bit the springs are attached to) and the guitar body on the opposite side to where the springs are attached? Shove a suitably-sized bit of wood into it.

When the trem is angled on the top, the trem block is angled at the rear. If you make it so the rear can't be angled (by blocking it), the top has nowhere to go.

I don't have any wood on hand. Know anything else that will work temporarily? I have the top of a coke bottle top in there (nice fit), but I doubt it will hold up.
