Hey people about to upgrade to an Siemens S56 phone and as I don't have a BlueTooth capable machine, I wanted to check on the best/cheapest way to use the two of them together:

1) - does IrDA work with iSync at all? (I've got a TiBook 500, which still has an IrDA port)

2) - if not, what's the best deal on a bluetooth adapter? ($50 on Apple's site)

3) - am I better off with a USB cable for now? Does the S56 work with iSync through it's USB cable?

Thanks

1) i don't think IrDA works with iSync.

2) i just bought a Belkin 100 Meter Bluetooth adapter for my TiBook 550 from buy.com with free shipping. It works great right out the box. It's the best and cheapest adapter I could find.

You can go farther with this adapter. All the other ones are 10 meter.

3) Don't waste your money on the USB cable when you can go WIRELESS!
