that is pretty cool! They didn't mention any damage when it landed, so I guess it burns up?

That's the definition of a meteor.

If it lands, it's a meteorITE.

Huh. Interesting.

The article did say it landed though. "AMS says the meteor traveled west to east and ended its flight in Wellsville, Mo. in Montgomery County."

How high up does Wellsville go? If you're 10 feet above the ground, are you still in Wellsville? 1000 feet? 10,000?

Wellsville defends its airspace. Probably shot that ****er out of the sky.

Yeah Wellsville, MO is about 90 miles west of STL as the crow flies. About a 90 minute drive if you start from downtown. Also, the report saying it flew "west to east" is definitely erroneous given all the video footage. Especially of it flying past the Gateway Arch where it was most definitely going "east to west".
