Hello,

i have some problems concerning Mac with Xfree install.
After installing xfree, i couldn�t log in as root under xfree.
Then i started xfree as root and did some passwd. After that, the passwords under MacOS were all changed to the xdarwin password, but not root. Now root have some other password. I could change the password for my user under console, but i can�t change the root password, cause i can�t log in as root :-<

Are there two passwd databases for xfree/darwin and MacOS?

Maybe it is because you are trying to enter part of your password using the keypad...XWindows doesn't see the keypad with the keymapping I use and I think we probably use the same one...
