Hi,

where or how to change the standard program for specific file types?
I mean, when i want to open a text file, I want to use BBEdit, but the information dialog doesnt work.

So any hints out there?

Greetings Vax

Select the file, go Show Info under the File menu, and then to Open with Application. You can choose an application to open that file, or all files of that type. I'm assuming you're running 10.1 here--this was broken previous to that.
