Can anyone find the weather applet in Panther's Sherlock app? It seems to have disappeared. The weather app, flight info and the movie applets were the only 3 that I used so if it's gone, Sherlock becomes 1/3 less useful. <GRIN>

It was the weather applet that came inside Sherlock.
I wasn't even aware that it was a 3rd party app.
(I don't remember installing it)

As far as I know, Apple never made a "Weather" channel for Sherlock themselves; however, under "Other Channels" you may be able to find some Weather 3rd party channels that have been submitted over time. You probably don't remember installing anything because there is no install of sorts, it just automatically detects "Other Channels" when you have a network connection.
I'm currently seeing a channel named "AccuWeather" showing up under "Other Channels"...

Sadly ... it doesn't seem to work.
It says "opening (null)" and comes up blank. :-(
Thanks for the effort anyway.

try trashing the accuweather plist file in preferences.
(i just did and the plugin loads now and gives me weather reports, though the wait curser under the menubar keeps spinning -- everything else seems fine)
[wish sherlock had a tv guide plugin]
