What are some good free FTP clients for Mac OS X out there. I tried fireFTP but that did no good, it just wouldn't connect to the server, somehow though, I can connect to the server through a PC using ALFTP.

Fugu.
There is also an FTP add-in for Firefox if you fancy doing it that way.

Fugu is SFTP-only I think.

That is from the sticky thread that says "What program should I use if I need to..." I am too lazy to link it. In the actual thread, there are links to many of htose progs, though I am not sur ehow many still work.

If you need FTP for work, or you find yourself using it a lot then invest in Transmit its an excellent application.

Right, which is fireFTP, which he said he tried.
OS X has a great ftp client built-in. Open Terminal and enter ftp.

Cyberduck has never given me any problems, it feels like an OS X app, it just belongs. Oh did i mention it's open source?

I'm mainly using CyberDuck because it's free (although if I had the money, I'd buy Transmit)... The only problem I have with it is that it seems slower than other FTP apps and it won't let me rename a file on my server! Other than that, I like the interface, etc... Are there any other free ones that do what I just said Cyberduck fails at?
