I need to transfer my save file for call of duty 2 from my powerbook to my pc. I'm currently on such a big level, that my powerbook is getting about 4 FPS making it unplayable. I can't seem to find the save file anywhere.

Really? Because I've done it with the Sims 2, SW Battlefront, and Halo before.

That is good. The problem is, that after porting a game, sometimes it is hard/not considered to make save files identical on both systems. It reminds me of network play problems. You might try ctrl+clicking on the .app, then clicking "show package contents". You see, many .app files are actually folders containg all of the files required for the application. You might be abl to navigate the hierarchy inside the .app package and find the save file. Good luck, and please tell me how it goes.

I'm sad to say that it didn't. There was nothing in there that could be related to the save files. But there is a folder in the main directory of CoD2 that has a folder in it named "save". But it's empty for some reason.

Anything in My Documents that may have been created by the game? Sometimes saved games go there.

/Users/You/Library/Application Support

That's probably the best bet. Look for a folder with the same name as that of the game, or company that makes it, or the publisher.

They're in the '/Call Of Duty 2 Data/main/players/' folder. Look for the folder with the same name as the user profile you created when you first ran the game. Inside of that is a 'save' folder with the saved games.
