Maybe. A creative person with a bout of inspiration and a Sunday afternoon free could pull it off.

It's funny how the simplest lego really looks like what it represents.

I wasn't impressed. I clicked the link thinking I'd see a Lego recreation of NYC. A few random pieces thrown together with MS Paint text and arrows does not equal creative.

I could take Sean Connery in a fight... I could definitely take him.

On the contrary. Seeing similarities across vastly varied scales takes more creative imagination than a laborious replication...

A recreation of NYC wouldn't be more creative than this.

My favorite of the "abstract" blog series is the one on coffee:

Yes.

I guess I'm the odd man out on my opinion here. Oh well.

OK, I blame my so-so english, my bad, but hilarious as 'extremely amusing' is not that far from reality.

Well, it could. In fact, many things could. I appreciate you enjoyed it, but that doesn't mean it someone couldn't do something more creative.

Tastes are subjective, but on my clever-meter, this is right up there with putting a hat and pipe on a dog and pretending he is a detective.

no no no; hat and sunglasses on the dog's butt; where the tail is the nose holding up the glasses.

Which is still more clever than creating one out of legos.

Holy Crap!

That post has 724 comments. I haven't seen a NYT piece get that much commentary since Judith Warner's (typically self indulgent) piece on raising daughters.
One should never stop striving for clarity of thought and precision of expression.
I would prefer my humanity sullied with the tarnish of science rather than the gloss of religion.

Imagine if they had a hot babes or Battlestar Galactica column.
