I'll get burned at the stake for this but I never really like SC all that much.
The mechanics are fun and all, the game just doesn't do it for me. I played alot of SC2 on Dreamcast, maybe it was the controller that annoyed me the most though.

I won't lie. I haven't played fighting games since Super Nintendo, and I never was all that good on a controller without turbo capabilities.

You should really check out the DOA series, fantastic game! Focus is less on hitting random buttons to pull off tricks as hitting a combination of punches and kick moves into each-other.
Back on-topic, am I the only one who likes Voldo in SC?

LOL. DOA is KNOWN for button mashing.

If you button-mash against me I'll tear you apart. I'd say it's the hardest fighting game to button-mash and win at since the block/grapple/counter system is miles ahead of any other fighting game made.
Plus I'm talking about a direct correlation to the button you're hitting and the move being done. Remember Mortal Kombat and all the random moves that had no rhyme or reason mapped to the controller?

I just bought MGS4, and beat it in a week. So now I gotta shell out $60 again for a new game lol. I need something with more replay value, and I think SCIV will be it. It looks straight up elegant. I have trailers in 1080 on my PS3. Plus playing as Vader is so sweet

I've been playing for a while now. IV does feel a little more masher friendly and they toned down some of the most powerful moves. But it's still fun. Online is a pain in the ass though, it's about impossible to GI or JF most of the time.

I played this the other day at my friend's place. Holy cow, Algol is a cheesy mofo. His attacks cover a ridiculous range and he has projectiles?

I refuse to play any fighter until something can compare to the original Killer Instinct.
