OS 9.2.2 Update won't Update...

...on my iMac G3 700 SE. I turned off extensions, restarted and went through the steps. Then when I clicked Install I got this message window...

Update to Mac OS 9.2.2

Install/Remove Software

Installation Type: (Recommended Installation)

This software cannot be installed over this localized copy of Mac OS.

What am I missing here? I have one HD (Mac OS Extended HFS+). I'm not on a Network. File Sharing is off. Appletalk is off. Extendions Off. Virex off.......help meeee....

You don't have a US copy of the OS. You will have to wait for apple to update your countries version. Where are you from?

Good God in Heaven! I'm an American with a (I think...how the hell do I find out what language version I have installed on my HD? Sure looks N. A English!) North American English OS 9.2.1 installed!

**** it...I'll wait until OS 9.2.3...from all the complaints and hardrive wipes, hardware driver losses and folders with "?" flashings on the Apple boards it seems Apple ****ed up again.
