I have a gigantic red and white transformer almost exactly like that.

I think someone did mention it already, but credit where credit is due, the omega is a tip of the hat to the Leonov in 2010. There's only bad pics of it on the internet, but you get the idea.

One Shadow Battlecrab with a telepath-proof pilot would pwn all these ships.
And the White Star is a nifty ship.

YEAH! That's my favorite one. It's just such a nice piece of work. Metal landing gear with metal doors with super heavy duty springs that fling open and hit your fingers really hard, very nice plastic, amazing joints... the build quality is nuts. I bought it at a garage sale for $5 back when I was a kid, so it doesn't have all the stickers.

You realize those are two different versions, right? One is obviously a smaller, cheaper version. The other is obviously a larger more complicated version.

Honestly - how could you not vote for this?

I have just seen SUNSHINE, that's a wonderful scifi movie with great effects. The ship resembles the Oddysey from 2001, but with a thermonuclear payload the size of Manhattan attached to it

I found the film boring. And seriously, the SFX only were cool if one has never looked at NASA images of the suns surface.

Dora, but you only have ships from film and TV, not the literature.
