Anyone seen this before and know of a 'fix'? User's account suddenly fails in the following manner:
User can log in but cannot open a view of his account in the Finder. Files in the Desktop folder or the Documents folder may be opened by double clicking on them BUT you cannot open the same files from within an app using the File>Open command. This results in the spinning ball. Relaunching the Finder fails to fix anything. Repairing permissions does nothing. Disk Warrior does nothing. Creating a new account and moving the files via email 'fixes' this but if you move the files any other way you get the same failures noted above.
