New MacBook Pro, imported all music ripped from CDs without any trouble. Went online and purchased a movie from the iTunes Store, file downloaded but cannot be played. Get caught in a continuous loop asking for account password. Tried de-authorizing computer and reauthorizing without any luck. Only have 2 of 5 possible authorized computers in the account. Google didn't return anything helpful. Hope someone here has seen this and has a fix.

Have you contacted iTunes support? I think they have live chat to make it easier to do.
