Some icons not showing... Not rebuilding!

Some icons are not showing (OS 9 Apps, Documents...) and alert icons (when you empty the trash, the icon next to the text)
I have restarted the PRAM and rebuilt the desktop, and those don't seem to fix it. Any ideas?

Gee, that dont sound too good.
The alert icon (from dialog boxes) is in the system file, so maybe there's a problem with that?
I would trash the Finder and System prefs first.
If that dont fix it, a new system file may be the go.
