I am a little ignorant on wireless networking.

I have an actiontec dsl modem and wireless gateway distributing my internet connection wirelessly.

I have a powerbook and an ibook with airport extreme cards.

I have a powermac dual 533 with no wireless card.

I have an hp dj5150 printer connected to the powermac.

I want to be able to connect the powermac to the internet connection wirelessly. I also want to be able to print from the laptops wirelessly. I also don't want to have to switch airport connections to do this(although if I had to it wouldn't be the end of the world).

I ignorantly bought a netgear router thinking I could connect it to the dsl modem wirelessly.

I want to be able to do this as cheap as possible. also if I just ran a ethernet cable to my powermac, could I print with the laptops wirelessly?

Thanks for any help you might provide.

You can do it all wirelessly by buying what is called a "wireless bridge" for the Powermac. Some manufacturers make wireless game adapters that can do the same thing. They are really bridges that aren't marketed as bridges and they cost a bit less than the devices sold as bridges. Try the linksys wireless game adapter.
