Yeah i watched it. There was no way in the world that the Donny Tourette guy was going to come out on top. Simon Amstell is a good replacement for Mark Lamarr too, still got the same sense of humour to it because Amstell will take the mickey out of people whether they are sat next to him or whatever, no holds barred, just like Lamarr did. Speaking of which, Preston from the Ordinary Boys walks off the show next week cos they all make fun of him and his girlfriend (Chentelle the non celebrity who won celebrity Big Brother last year).

It'll be much easier if you just comply.

the Boosh guy has always been hilarious -- he's a great guy to have cast for that episode especially
I couldn't stop laughing when Donny Tourrette pointed to his crotch and told Amstell thats what he thought of him, Amstells reply was ****ing hilarious

I gave up watching it when Amstell took over, since I can't stand the bloke. Just something about him makes me want to slap him.

Although I did catch the ep last week with Nerina Pallot. Yes, I'm a dirty slobbering perv, I admit it.

I like Amstell, I liked him when he presented Popworld, cos he did the same kind of thing (but without the swearing) on that.

It'll be much easier if you just comply.

Yeah . I've just watched Al Murrays Happy Hour, and Ordinary Boys were the band. Part of the deal with this show is that whoever is singing plays the show out with a Queen cover. They did 'I want to break free', in a way that I can only describe as murder, or maybe 'in the style of Madness' (bad ska, oi oi oi type stuff). Preston deserves everything he gets, and I can't wait to see Buzzcocks now.

It'll be much easier if you just comply.

"croutons, croutons . . . crunchy friends in a liquid broth"

Excellent!

I saw a couple episodes of The Mighty Boosh for the first time flying back to the States on a Virgin flight. Absolutely freakin' hilarious. And then to see this guy show up on the Buzzcocks episode was a hoot. (Great show by the way, does it play on any channel in the states? I just watched a bunch of episodes on YouTube form the link above but would love to watch more.)

I think he's hilarious Oh, and I'm oddly ambivalent towards Marmite - I don't mind it every once in a while.
