My Bluetooth MM seems to have a fault scroll pea. It used to work great, but now it only seems to scroll up, left, and right. Down is dead.

Luckily, it is about 6 weeks old so I should be able to get it replaced.

Has anyone else had this problem?

it's probably just dirty. try moving the ball around quite a bit and cleaning what you can off the top.

Like rjenkinson said but do it while it is upside down on a mouse pad. It will help remove any debri that is on the rollers. Also i use some alcohol and a lent free cloth and roll the ball around on it. The alcohol seems to help loosen any tough gunk that might be stuck.

It's pretty clean and relatively new, but I'll try the upside-down trick and see if I can bang anything out of it.

If you take a few moments to look around this board youl find at least 2 thread commenting of this matter

Its simply a case of cleaning the ball, no need to take it back. Good news eh?

I cleaned it, even though it looked clean. And it worked. I guess the pea is fussy. REALLY fussy.

Thanks for the support.
