Anyone? I could use some help with our company proposals. We have constructed our RFPs in Pages and have a few templates made up: look really nice. But, out of the 6 we have put out over the past 6 months, we have not won any contracts.

So, if anyone has experience responding to RFPs, I would gladly send you our template to have a look. Again, it is in Pages format, but I assume I am in good Apple company here...

Thanks in advance...

RFPs suck, whichever way you look at it. We get 80% of our business through people we know, on the occasions that we do respond to one we do so knowing that there'll be friendly faces looking over our entry. Many, many RFPs are just a smoke screen. The people putting them out know exactly who they want to work with, but for policy reason they have to put out an RFP. Makes no difference to the end result and wastes everybody's time.

I'd say the secret to new business is the building of relationships, not answering RFPs.
