This is odd: lost MIDI functionality with 10.54

I run:
10.5, G5 2.5 dual, 5 gigs of ram, multiple drives, etc.
Midi interface is a M-Audio Midisport 2x2 interface.
Worked great prior to the update.
I doublechecked the M-Audio site and updated to the latest drivers for
that particular unit.
Now none of my applications seem to be able to communicate with
the midi interface and only the power led on the interface lights.
Anyone else run into anything like this?

Have you tried applying the 10.5.4 combo update?

I'll give it a shot, I'm already at 10.54 but don't believe it was the combo update.
Thanks for the tip.

Even though you're already using 10.5.4, sometimes applying the combo update replaces files that got a bit borked in the update and fixes things.

Combo update apparently fixed it.
The issue apparently went so far as to shut down some of my USB
functionality.
