Ok. I guess that's why they don't bother listing the hardware it emulates -- since it wouldn't make much sense to users anyway.
Thanks for the link to emulation.net . Unfortunately, they don't have anything listed for the 2600... well, not directly anyhow. I guessed the link:
http://emulation.net/atari2600/ and it pointed to Stella, though it doesn't look like Stella's had much development done on it lately.
EDIT: Installed stella-12-mac.sit here on Panther and it seems to be working well!
