A few weeks back I had my car in for service. They recommend replacing the pedal pads as they are worn out. For $12 I say sure. I know this can happen.

Drive out of the lot on my way to work, I notice a few miles down the brake is slippery. The dang new cover slipped off. I replace it several times but it pops off. I take it in, they mutter that it must have been installed upside down, and put it back on. Falls off again within 5 miles of the shop. I take it in again next week, another guy says maybe I got one for a different model car, goes and gets a new one from the part shop... but yep, it falls off.

Do I
a) take it back and make them fix the damn thing AGAIN;
b) Just give up and coat the thing in gorilla glue to MAKE IT STAY PUT? Any downside to this option?

Signed,
tired of crawling on the floor of the car.

It it's just rubber, place it a pot of hot water (boil some and then take it off the eye), then after 10-15 minutes remove the pad from the pot with tongs. When it's cool enough to touch, but still hot, stretch it over the pedal and let it sit over night (do not drive for several hours). You should be GTG then.
