Hey all, jus though I'd share this - was mucking around with network assisstant the other day on my LAN and figured it'd be cool if I got rid of those damn eyes. If you use network assisstant you'll know what I mean.
I just quickly cooked up a patch that gets rid of them. You can still click where they normally are, but I am working on that. Think I got it (haven't tested it yet. Too lazy). But anyway, want a copy of the patch, e-mail me and I'd be glad to send to you.

You can use the Network Ass't Security app to disable the 'Show me when I'm being observed' without patching the app.

By the way, disabling the "Show when observed..." button does not remove the eyes when you are controlling a computer.
You may say "Well, if you're controlling it, they're gonna know about it".
Not necessarily. If you share control, you can let them go about their business, but can control any time, get what I mean?

It's supposed to but according to an article in the TIL, the prefs file get's corrupted. Just trash it and set everything up again. It worked for me. It doesn't show 'em when you're controling the workstation either.
