Click here to visit the site to take the test.

The link to take the test is at the bottom on the right-hand side.

It is one of the coolest websites I've ever seen - and it's interesting!

I was a "Small German Munsterlander" dog (though my current dog is actually a Yorkie named Jake - a puppy that we recently adopted/rescued from someone who couldn't pay his medical bills) that is a hunting dog. I never even heard of it before today.

I'll put up a picture of both: The breed I am supposed to be and of our current dog Jake, who is shown riding around in one of our son's toy cars. Jake weighs 4 pounds so he fits anywhere, but Jake is a tough little dog, make no mistake.

Isn't it cool?

They have, like, EVERY dog known in there and the website is one of the coolest I've ever seen.

How did they do it?

*Sprinting*, rather. Greyhounds are sprint runners, they don't care for long distances.

My greyhound sleeps about 23 hours per day. The other hour is spent eating, playing, and relieving himself.

I turned out to be a xoloitzcuintle, a breed from outer space, apparently, that I had never heard of before. They're also known as "Mexican Hairless" dogs. There was no question regarding the quantity of my fur.

WW!

You guys are really posting!

I LOVE the Akita. I wish I could have one, but our yard is too small for one. I'm too much on the go, also, and I like to bring dogs with me everywhere. The Yorkie fits in a bag and he goes with me everywhere. I was never a "small dog" person until I met this little guy - he's got a tough constitution and attitude and he's not yappy at all.

I was surprised by the selection but the definition seemed to fit pretty well.
As far as dogs, I never was a small dog owner but I've had my terrier mix with me for almost 13 years now. She's a strong dog (survived two major surgeries), not very yappy and pretty even-tempered. She's also well-travelled, hitting 25 of the states in the US (and DC) and two other countries (including a trans-Pacific flight).

A few weeks ago, my s/o asked if I'd love the dog more than our kids (when we ever have any) and I said the dog since I'd have known her for longer.

But she's a trooper. Just last night, when I took her for a walk after I got home from work, she saw a cat (a small kitten on the first floor) and tore after her.

Irish red & white setter. A happy, good natured and affectionate dog, which admirably combines the role of sportsman's dog and family pet. Needs space and plenty of excercise.

We actually used to have a dog like that when I was a child. I wonder if any studies have been done to see if the type of dog a small child has makes an impact on the person they become?

I wonder about that also.

When I was small we had border collies and a golden retriever that I adored. I LOVED that dog.

Have you ever noticed that the dogs that you have as children are incomparable to dogs you have as an adult? Meaning, the dogs now never quite compare?

Though, the little Yorkie that we have actually almost does compare. He's so smart. I thought small dogs were stupid, to be honest. He's really really smart.

Does anyone else think that small dogs can be or are smart?

Again, I pose the same question: Why are you being such an ass here? Do you believe such polls? Do you read Cosmo and try to determine if "He really loves your or just likes your clean shaven legs?"
