In a few weeks I'm gonna be getting a 2.8Ghz iMac and was gonna install a copy of either XP or Vista on it (via Bootcamp) for gaming. My question is which is better? I know Vista supposedly organises your games better or stuff but I saw on the back of Command and Conquer 3 that Vista required 128Mb video card whereas XP was only 64, so which is the better for gaming? I have both but would prefer to use Vista cos it's prettier.

Since the card in the iMac is DX10 compatible I'd go for Vista just so you can turn on the extra eye candy when future games support them.

And bump the RAM all the way up. Vista can use almost all of what you can put in an iMac, and more RAM is good-especially with Vista.

I installed Vista for Boot Camp gaming. It is faster for games than OS X but I read that XP is even faster. Powerstrip and ATITool work under XP better than Vista is you want to overclock your GPU safely.
Which Vista graphics drivers for ATI and Nvidia can we use instead of the one Apple supplies with Boot Camp?
