woohoo we are ranked number 155 as of now, and we have 186 members...

very nice! ahead of my imagined schedule...

Isn't it odd that though our new member rate has decreased, our movement up in rank has greatly increased?

not at all, some of these folks are wielding whole networks of Macs... think about it

I think we should try and get as many mentions on the front page of MacNN.com as we can. Everytime we do, our membership gets a little boost.

I think we'll get to 150th spot in the next week.

200 members? Well it depends on how often we get front page news . I guess just after we get to 150th spot. But that's only if we get the recognition we desrve.

MacNN editorial staff has determined that there be no gratuitous mention of our team on the frontpage, the team gets mentioned when there is some news item or software is released (such as SUM or SETI Checker) that relates to the SETI@home project...

Well, looks like wlonh gets to keep his propeller beanie...Team MacNN is in 150th place as of July 31, 2001!

Now if I can keep four people from joining during the entire month of August, I may still get a free swizzle stick.

We were in 150th by real time stats of our team and not the competitors but never on seti's team page which updates all the teams at once, although i guarantee we are now.

But anyone wanna wager what we'll be at by the time they come back online?
