Hello all. I just wanted to get a general feel for the level of likes/dislikes with gestures on the newer crop of MacBook products.

As per the poll, I wanted to see what kind of general, non-scientific numbers I can obtain. I also wanted to see if there were any "undocumented" gestures that help you with your workflow and how you use gestures daily.

Personally, I'm a HUGE fan of the new trackpads and gestures. I have gone totally mouse-less, and haven't looked back (I am taking a break from any serious gaming, so I have no pressing need for one). I seem to be much more productive (time-wise) with gestures, and enjoy doing mundane tasks much more when I can four-finger swipe for Expose' or to see my desktop.

What are your feelings?

I never use them. I'm pretty well trained on all of the other shortcuts, so I don't think I would save much time by training myself to use them.

Likewise, never use them on my MBP. On my iPhone, that's different but there seems to be less of a need (at least on my part) to use them on a laptop as opposed to the iPhone.
