Ok, I never had a Mac but I want to have such a damn nice thing

I have decided to buy a 13" MacBook next week and have a question :

1. Does it come shipped pre-installed with Tiger (couldn't find anything on apple.com)
2. Is it still adversable to buy the DVD
3. Does someone runs Windows in a virtual session (like vmware) ? What is the performance ..

And don't get me wrong I don't want to run Windows on that laptop otherwise I could stick to a Sony or IBM, but I have some company applications which require Windows ... Those programs don't really need a high performance PC, but I need to work "as normal" as possible with a virtual session like you can on vmware (beta on MAC starts soon btw.)

Any input is highly appreciated !

1. You bet!
2. It comes with the DVD's, so no.
3. Parallels runs Windowx at native speed. It's very impressive.

Thanks a lot for the fast response

It sounds weird (or maybe not) but I owned almost every hardware (I mean make of laptops, OS' etc. etc.) and I am kinda sick of using the same all the time .. I thought it is time to use something different And since so many people love it I don't think I will regret buying one

1) Yes.
2) No, you already own it.
3) Slightly slower than Windows on bare metal, and of course no 3D graphics support.
