I'm wondering if anyone knows yet whether the new Macbook Pros will have the same hard drive support as the previous version. I was initerested in getting one, and since I wanted to increase the capacity, I found this hard drive: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16822136197 . Is it compatible?

Any 2.5" 9.5mm SATA drive, like the one you linked to, will work.
May as well go to 500GB as long as you're upgrading...

Yea, not too much of a point of upgrading from 250GB to 320GB, but I can't find an affordable 2.5" 500GB drive. Any ideas?

There's only one that will fit in them, the Samsung 500GB. It's currently $190 on NewEgg.

The WD is even cheaper (same $150 price, free shipping).

Oh, I wasn't aware they'd released a 9.5mm height model. Ok, so there's two to pick from now!

Still a bit pricey, $:GB ratio is less for the 320GB drive... Not sure what I'm going to go for.

It's always good to get the best you can afford at the time.

Well, I'm happy to say that I pulled the trigger on a 320GB Hitachi Travelstar drive for $82, but after a mail-in rebate, that comes to only $62. Hopefully I will actually remember to fill out this rebate... Btw, here's the link if any of you guys are interested: http://www.zipzoomfly.com/jsp/Produc...dlist=celebros .
