Hi,
I just got a second hand Apple iBook. The only problem is that one of the feet are gone. Called Apple and they charge tons just for plastic feet!
Does anyone have some to donate to me?
or
Does anyone have some to sell to me?
I only need 1, but extras are a good idea.
Thank you very much for your help everyone, Paul T.

Just goto an Apple store and beg for some. They usually are very kind and will give you some. Also try calling again and hope for a better CSR.

The next time I visit my "local" (2.5 hours away) Apple Store I'll be beggin them for some myself...I've heard going to the retail stores w/ your machine is your best bet.

I also picked up some new feet from the local Bellevue Apple Store, but the ones they gave me were too thin to give any clearance.. However, they did give me an idea.
I picked up some thicker, self stick rubber feet from a local hardware store. Theses were cut using a paper punch to create feet which stick neatly into where the old feet used to go. Now I have even better non-skid feet than stock and an endlesss supply if I ever lose one.

No. They were merely round pieces of rubber which were sticky on one side, not the original molded feet that came with the machine. They were also too thin so they ended up in the rubbish. The ones I made are much better.
