Cool, too bad my QuickTime won't stream anything for some reason in OS X. It opens streams, and begins to play, but then I get the spinning beach ball, and everything stops. Just sits there. App not responding, red. Even from Apple. I can't stream from any site. I've played with the connection settings. Put them on the ones I need (DSL, every kind), even 56K. Nothin'. I'm going to try and reinstall. If anyone has any ideas, it would be cool to catch the stream!

Cool! I wasn't sure when the actual starting time of the keynote was. I've caught most of them that were streamed in the last few of years, which often meant staying up until all hours in Japan... Here's hoping for something good!

I had a similar problem earlier in the year. Upgrading my 3ivx plug-in to 4.0.4 fixed everything.

Hmm, this is one keynote I really don't care about. I mean the most exciting thing is bumped powerbooks and some 10.3 demos. Yippie.

Steve doesn't normally put out for the frogs.

From the site:

Tune in 16. and 17. September to watch the latest action from Apple Expo Paris 2003 in high-quality QuickTime streaming.
It doesn't specifically state the site will carry the keynote. We'll soon find out, I guess.

No Panther release date. "Availible by the end of the year".

Good to know that they aren't rushing things.

Still a fair bit of polishing needed still.

What's the score with the new keyboards and mice? Can you plug a regular USB mouse into the new keyboards? Can you enable the new keyboards on an old gumdrop iMac?
