Serial Experiements Lain had so many Mac reference in it. Just for that, I say all of you should watch it.
It featured the 20th anniversary Mac, the iMac, Copland OS, OS 9's voice-log-in system and some other stuff that I can't recall at the moment.
Also, it's a great Anime series (13 eps on 4 DVDs or VHS). Kinda too obscure, but it posed interesting issues concerning the internet revolution and *gasp* TCP...
G4/450, T-bird 1.05GHz, iBook 500, iBook 233...4 different machines, 4 different OSes...(9, 2k, X.1, YDL2.2 respectively) PiA to maintain...

well...the most profound anime ever created without rival is still Evangelion, and my all time favoriate is still Macross Plus, and the best classic is still Original Macross Movie. Lain is Very well made and without dispute, one of the top anime series made to date. But it's also a bit too bizzare for my taste...and still not sure if I really understand it...
