ok, so mail lost all of my info on my email accounts and such.

i had 5 pop email accounts and it lost all the pop3/smtp info and such and now it has nothing listed in mail.

i look in- /users/stefan/library/mail/

all of my pop email account folders are still there.

is there anyway to get info from back on my emails? like passwords and such?

its been a f*cking b*tch to get a hold of the person who does my pop emails to get my passwords back! :/

If your disk was full and Mail couldn't save its preferences, then there's nothing you can do but restore the preference file from your backup, or, if you're one of those sorry bastards who don't keep backups, re-entering all your account info and then re-importing all your mailboxes from the ~/Library/Mail folder.

a) you just admitted to not having a back-up, which puts the joke on you.

b) you're most definitely not the only "sorry bastard" (not just "bastard") out there without a current backup - my last one is a while ago, too.

c) I really don't feel like adding a winky smiley every single time I get a little tongue-in-cheek. That would make me look like Cody Dawg.

d) you're welcome for the help.
