I am a new Mac user--well, sort of! I used to have a Performa and a Quadra back in the old days, and I was very satisfied with them, but then I had to switch over to PC (a Compaq.. icky!). Just recently, however, I bought a cute little iBook running OSX, and I am quite impressed to see how far Apple has come in the last few years... I look forward to getting re-acquainted with the Mac world, and I hope that I can cultivate my interest in computers through the support of everyone at MacNN! This seems like such a lively place.

Uh oh, this doesn't sound good so far! Fortunately, I have been "lurking" for a few months, so I have a pretty good idea about all of the stuff that goes on, especially in the infamous Politics/War Lounge!
